This new build holiday home required an interior that balances functionality and aesthetic appeal, transforming the space into the owner’s dream retreat.

Prioritising low-maintenance solutions while delivering a luxurious, hotel-like atmosphere, every design choice was driven by the desire to blend form and function seamlessly.

The cabinetry design plays a pivotal role in defining the home’s aesthetic, introducing sleek, industrial tones that elevate the space.

The rich warmth of brass accents is paired with dark woodgrain veneer and durable melamine, exuding understated luxury.

Porcelain benchtops, selected for their high-quality finish and ease of care, offer an ideal balance of beauty and practicality throughout the home.

Contrasts in the design – masculine and feminine, hard and soft – enrich the interiors.

Curved mirrors and basins complement the sharp lines of shelving, while negative detailing and mesh grills are softened by round pendants and positioned lighting.

These elements create an interplay of textures that brings depth and sophistication to every room.

The kitchen, a focal point of the design, posed unique challenges.

The integration of ventilation systems without disrupting the aesthetic led to a creative solution: a surrounding frame of fin-like structures that conceal the ventilation while allowing it to function efficiently.

This functional design maintains the clean, elegant lines of the cabinetry while enhancing the kitchen’s overall appeal.

An angled ceiling in the kitchen and living areas presented another opportunity for thoughtful design.

The dark-painted ceiling works harmoniously with the cabinetry to create a sleek, grand atmosphere, fulfilling the owner’s vision without overwhelming the space.

The interiors are designed to be impactful while allowing the home’s natural surroundings to remain the centrepiece.

Given the abundant natural light in the main living area, UV-resistant materials were essential.

High-quality furniture pieces were selected not only for their durability but also for the luxurious textures and refined aesthetics they bring to the space.
