Our design approach was meticulous, aiming to seamlessly blend the ensuite and the walk-in robe while maintaining their individuality within the larger space.
To achieve this, we introduced a subtle yet effective curve in the flooring, smoothly transitioning between marble and timber flooring.
This design element not only visually connects the spaces but also serves as a subtle nod to the overarching motif of soft curves that define the entire home.
Azul Roma marble, a standout feature, was strategically incorporated to create visual interest and a sense of luxury.
U-shaped cladding behind the freestanding bath, with its distinctive handmade ribbed finish, also extends up the back of the shower recess seamlessly, providing a cohesive design element that ties the space together.
One of the challenges we faced was working with the curvature of the ceiling, where opposing curves intersected and extended into the adjoining bedroom and living room.
Achieving precise detailing against this irregular curve required careful planning and execution.
Lighting emerged as a crucial aspect of the design, serving to accentuate the space’s features while creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
Soft uplighting delicately illuminates the ceiling, enhancing the curvature and the microcement finish.
The custom microcement mix, infused with real gold and silver flakes, added a touch of opulence and continuity.
The shower space, designed as a tranquil retreat, features an arched opening that invites occupants into a serene wet area.
Every detail, from the tapware to the cabinetry, was selected to complement the curvature theme, ensuring a seamless and harmonious environment.
Attention to detail was paramount, with each element contributing to the overall sense of harmony and cohesion in the wider home.
