Choosing the Right Dining Table for Your Space

Shape, size, and material considerations for a functional dining area

Contrasts – masculine and feminine, hard and soft – are designed to enrich these interior spaces, with elements creating an interplay of textures that brings depth and sophistication to every room – the kitchen is the hero of the design, presenting dark toned cabinetry teemed with a dark ceiling overhead

Designer: I used the pipe style extractors to minimise the obstruction of the mountain views and to echo the style of the round rustic feature table.

A rustic island table, schist accents, overhead ventilation that stands out without blocking views and a wall of wood cabinetry all come together to create a kitchen that's trained on family life and connects with its mountain outlooks

The townhouses' natural exterior palette was continued on the interior for a consistent aesthetic.

A kitchen designed to blend seamlessly into the open plan living area, styled to resemble attractive furniture.

Part of the design brief was to make sure that the kitchen blended successfully into the open plan living area and that it would look like attractive furniture.

An L-shaped area has ‘cafe-style’ bench seating and table, and two islands with green/grey shaker-style cabinetry.

King Arthur would have liked this – the custom designed organic shaped 10-seater dining table is intended not to have a head of the table so all family members or guests are seen as equal.

The Malmo Dining table is a beautiful simple design. The round legs are arranged right on the corner of the table, to maximize seating space. Available in Solid Oak or Walnut. W2000 D1000 H750
