From the designers:

In harmony with its industrial surroundings, this individual kitchen shows how bespoke design can beautifully reflect any kind of interior.

This former bacon factory’s industrial environs provide the template for our design. We worked closely with the interior designers (who were working on the whole space) to ensure that the kitchen integrated seamlessly into the overall design.

We paid meticulous attention to detail to create a beautiful, supremely functional kitchen, with a carefully chosen mix of echoes of the heritage of the building. These included stained black vertical grain Rough Sawn Oak, stainless steel and Neolith Iron Corten Satin on the expansive island.

View from within the kitchen reveals the island's multi-functional features and work surfaces.
The island’s functionality is even more apparent from within the kitchen.

Recessed handles keep cabinetry contemporary and discreet. Paying further homage to the building’s history, working with appliance company Westin, we created bespoke stainless-steel extraction suspended from the ceiling, which, with the island, is the focal point of the kitchen.

In complete contrast, we introduced a luxury element in a spectacular Calacatta Viola marble worktop and splashback.

Roundhouse made a heavy-duty stainless-steel frame housing for the industrial scale Sub-Zero fridge/freezer to integrate it seamlessly into the scheme.

Repurposing what was an industrial lift, we kept the original folding doors and the old headgear and utilised the space for a bespoke walk-in larder.

The original headgear of a repurposed industrial lift remains visible, preserving a historical element in the kitchen.
The existing now repurposed lift’s headgear was retained, maintaining a clear link to times past.
