This project is a celebration of bold living – deeply rooted in its vineyard surroundings yet elevated with unexpected moments of luxury and play.

Designed as a home that reflects both lifestyle and personality, every room was considered not just for function, but for how it makes you feel.

The residence blurs the boundaries between contemporary architecture and soulful interior design.

Wood flooring continues from indoors to outdoors – albeit in quite different forms.

“Natural materials, rich textures, and custom details work in harmony with the landscape, framing vineyard views as though they were curated artworks,” says Sam McArthur.

Warm palette grounds home in setting

The warm palette of timber, stone, and textured finishes grounds the home in its rural setting, while statement moments – from a dramatic powder room wrapped in jungle-inspired wallpaper to a playful guest bathroom adorned with whimsical swimmers – remind us that great design should also surprise and delight.

The home celebrates its environment at every turn – glass fencing keeps the pool safe without obstructing views. Outdoorfireplace and hardwood decking are features.

The ensuite dares to be different, with palm-printed walls, ribbed cabinetry, and bronze accents – a confident nod to our homeowner’s fearless style.

Wine cellar as atmospheric counterpoint

The wine cellar, drenched in olive green from floor to ceiling, feels immersive and intimate, an atmospheric counterpoint to the airy living spaces that open effortlessly onto the pool and outdoor entertaining zone.

Every design choice was intentional: from creating a family home that can host grand gatherings, to crafting quiet corners for reflection and retreat.

The result is a house that doesn’t just respond to its environment – it elevates it.

The project dares to be different, embraces personality, and creates a home as memorable as the vineyard it resides within.
