A space that welcomed her home and allowed her to indulge in cooking both everyday meals and entertaining friends and family. It was important that the kitchen felt connected to the dining and outdoor living areas, offering a seamless flow between the spaces.
An internal arched wall was removed, creating an open, light-filled area that connected the kitchen with the rest of the home. Design details were carefully considered such as choosing textures like detailed cabinet doors, pressed tin splashbacks, and skirting to create a traditional yet relaxed feel.
Given the 11m² space, careful thought was given to functionality. Tall cabinetry and two large pantries with internal drawers helped keep things organized and accessible. Oversized 1100mm drawers near the dining area made it easier to store plates and cutlery, while zones for different tasks ensured efficiency. A 900mm on-bench pantry and pullouts for oils, spices, and trays offered even more convenience.
The final kitchen is not only beautiful but also a space where the clients can cook, entertain, and feel truly at home.
