1. STATUS OF THE SITE

TrendsProperty.com was opened to the public on 30 July 2025 and is still in beta.
New features and data flows may change rapidly. A full Privacy Statement and Terms of Use will replace this interim notice no later than 30 August 2025.

3. WHAT DO WE COLLECT DURING BETA?

  • Name and e-mail address if you create a myTrends Property beta account or submit feedback.
  • Any text you type into feedback boxes.
  • Device information (IP address, browser type) gathered automatically for security and performance.
  • Anonymous analytics cookies that help us spot crashes (you can block these in your browser).
  • No advertising or marketing trackers are enabled during beta.

4. WHY DO WE COLLECT IT?

  • To reply to your questions, debug issues and improve upcoming features.
  • To safeguard the platform and compile anonymous usage statistics.

5. HOW WE USE & SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

  • Inside ADJ Systems Ltd and Trends Property Ltd by staff / contractors on a need-to-know basis.
  • HubSpot Inc. (USA) hosts sign-up forms & CRM under contracts that keep data safe.
  • Amazon Web Services (Sydney, Australia) hosts our servers; data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.

6. DATA RETENTION

  • Feedback submissions are deleted or anonymised within 90 days.
  • Server logs are kept for 30 days then purged.

7. SECURITY SNAPSHOT

  • All traffic uses HTTPS; databases are protected by firewalls and multi-factor authentication.
  • If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected users and the NZ Privacy Commissioner as soon as practicable.
  • HubSpot assurance
    • Annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit covering security, availability and confidentiality.
    • Public SOC 3 summary report downloadable from the HubSpot Trust Center.
    • PCI DSS Level 1 alignment — payments handled via Stripe; HubSpot never stores card data.

8. YOUR RIGHTS (Privacy Act 2020)

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of anything wrong or out-of-date.
  • Complain to us first; if unresolved, contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

9. FUTURE UPDATES

We will announce the full legal documents on our home page and e-mail registered beta testers when they go live. Version history and the “last updated” date will appear at the top of each policy.
