Metal

The project involved a new addition to an existing two-storey home, with a focus on passive solar design and multiple direct connections to the natural environment. The pool is a few steps from the sheltered outdoor lounge.

Nature infused

On the north side of the home, a porous passive solar screen supported on a slender mild steel frame allows privacy whilst still permitting good winter sun deep into the house and outdoor spaces.

Sunshine meets privacy on a tricky site
