Owner requests
- The homeowners wanted this bathroom to match the other bathrooms that were being renovated in the house.
- They requested his and hers areas in the bathroom.
- Plus, they wanted something a little bit different, so they were keen on the idea of having a bath in the bedroom as there wasn’t enough space in the ensuite.
What we achieved
- Brown tones were used for the tiles and vanity, creating an earthy theme that connected the bathroom with both the other bathrooms and the forest area outside.
- A large composite marble stone bath was placed in the bedroom with a chandelier above for a wow factor!
- His and hers sinks were again used with the copper tapware, which stood out nicely against the brown tiles
Issues encountered
- Access to the property was an issue, and all of the tools and bathroomware had to be transported to the property in smaller vehicles that could fit down the drive.
- The bath weighed more than 200kg, and so it was a challenge to get it upstairs without causing any damage to the bath or the staff!
