The brief

The owners wanted a luxurious ensuite that has the feeling of a retreat or a resort.

It was to use beautiful natural materials, offer an element of calm and be a place to pamper.

The ensuite bathroom is styled to evoke the tranquil luxury of a private retreat or upscale resort.
The owners wanted to achieve a luxurious ensuite that has the feeling of a retreat or a resort.

The response

Our homeowners’ love of crystals inspired the choice of vanity bench top surface.

We used a single concrete vessel basin in a deep navy to complement the smokey tones of the quartz.

Textured glass pendants in rust and amber tones bring warmth to the room along with the travertine floor tile which is used on the floor and shower walls.

Travertine tiles in the bathroom echo the pattern of the wallpaper in the master bedroom, visually linking the two spaces.
The bathroom’s travertine tile mirrors the wallpaper in the adjacent master bedroom, allowing the spaces to feel connected.

A ledge was built into the shower to provide storage and a minimalist feeling.

The reeded glass shower screen was used to further enhance the calm and luxurious feeling and provides privacy.
