From the designer:

Owners requests:

  • A bath is to be removed from the smaller family bathroom and added to the large ensuite.
  • A large shower that was still going to be in proportion to the ensuite (and not oversized).
A corner bathtub designed to save space while enhancing the functionality of the ensuite.
A corner bath was selected so it wouldn’t take up too much space in the ensuite.

What we achieved

  • A double vanity and mirror cabinets were added to create a his and hers-type feel for the ensuite.
  • A free-standing corner bath was selected so it wouldn’t take up too much space in the ensuite.
  • Feature tiles were used that were a similar colour to the main tiles – thus creating a subtle feature using texture rather than introducing colour.
  • An ornament/wine shelf was added to the bath.
Oval vanity mirrors reflecting light and greenery from angled upper windows, creating an open and airy feel.

Issues addressed

  • The majority of the bathroom floor was rotten and had to be replaced.
