From the designer:

The brief for this kitchen was to provide depth of colour, use hard-wearing materials and offer a focal point where friends and family could gather, relax and enjoy the stunning Queenstown backdrop.

The design embodies modern sophistication with monolithic touches and a focus on solid materials.

The cabinetry in fumed oak adds depth and creates a moodiness that adds a layer of richness to the space.

To provide light relief, we incorporated Ranfurly oak in strategic areas, maintaining an earthy and organic feel throughout the kitchen.

Florim-burnished metal and cement light grey benchtops were chosen to introduce a slightly industrial feel, blending harmoniously with the light touches of Ranfurly oak.

These elements work together to create a space that is both modern and warm, with a nod to industrial design which also complements the concrete floor.

Thoughtful details, such as fluted and negative details to the joinery, provide visual interest and texture, adding depth to the cabinetry.

Cooking station featuring integrated ventilation, blending functionality with sleek, modern design.

We also design the joinery that connects to the kitchen, ensuring cohesion with the kitchen design to allow spaces to connect seamlessly.

This approach creates a sense of unity throughout the home, enhancing the overall flow and functionality of the space.

Smoked glass pendants hang over the seating area, creating a warm ambience that enhances the overall atmosphere of the kitchen.

The paired-back colour palette allows the scenery to take centre stage, emphasising the beauty of the surrounding environment.

This design approach ensures that the kitchen is not only visually striking but also a serene and inviting space that complements its natural surroundings, creating a harmonious blend of modern elegance and functional design.

Custom joinery elements created by the designers extend the kitchen’s aesthetic into adjacent areas for a unified look.
The designers also created the joinery elements connected to the kitchen for an easy aesthetic flow.
