From the kitchen designer:

This kitchen and small walk-in scullery, plus bar, is in a new home in semi-rural Greenhithe.

The mood of the home is French/Italian country, with traditional accents.

My homeowners requested a kitchen that would fit well into the home, with warm, inviting tones and a relaxed vibe.

They had already selected the key appliances and the footprint was in place; however, I did have some scope in the location of the refrigerator and ovens, the location of the sink within the island and bar seating.

Also requested was a self-contained bar area, with sink, hot water tap, and wine cabinet.

A standout feature is the luxurious Neolith Calacatta Gold Silk benchtop, also carried through to the cooktop splashback for a seamless, cohesive look.
A key material in the design is the benchtop material – Neolith Calacatta Gold Silk. This sintered stone material was also used on the cooktop splashback.

For this kitchen, I selected a combination of frame and flat panel doors, drawer fronts with beaded edge detail and grooved panelling.

Soft neutral cupboard tones on the fronts were specified along with the addition of bronze accents on the handles and rangehood details.

The Neolith splashback adds depth and visual warmth, with soft veining in cream, beige, and gold swirling across a classic white base.
The neolith splashback has a beautiful marble-like movement, with an elegant swirling pattern of cream, beige and gold accents on a white background.

This is a sintered stone material and was used on the cooktop splashback.

Made from natural materials, much of this product is recyclable, presenting a great sustainable option for benchtops.

It has a beautiful marble-like movement, with an elegant swirling pattern of cream, beige and gold accents on a white background, making it the perfect match for the bronze accents.

The cabinetry showcases a curated mix of framed and flat-panel doors, enhanced with delicate beaded edges and grooved panelling that nod to timeless craftsmanship.

The island bar seating was located close to the window seat, a great location to sit and entertain with friends.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a casual living room with a gas fire, and relaxed seating – the living room also opens to an enclosed outdoor living space with another fire, and a soon-to-be-completed outdoor kitchen.

The owners’ brief was perfectly met, with a functional design sympathetic to the home’s style and well suited to their lifestyle.
